Meet our Management Team

Francis Volpe
President

Francis was born and raised in Allentown, PA and became President of Sabre Financial Group in 2004, when Sabre first opened its doors to the public. The Volpe family has owned and operated small businesses around the Lehigh Valley for eight decades. Fran graduated from Allentown Central Catholic H.S., where he was recently inducted in the Rockne Wall of Fame. Fran was fortunate to be a part of the ‘93 State Championship football team and a state finalist in wrestling. He completed a post-graduate year at Blair Academy in ‘96 and graduated from Harvard with a B.A. in Economics, Class of ‘00. At Harvard he was a member of the varsity football team and was a Captain of the wrestling team, which won the EIWA and Ivy League for the first time in the university’s history. Individually Fran was a 4-time EIWA place winner, 1st Team All-Ivy League and Academic All-American.

Fran’s Economics degree from Harvard along with strong sales experience while at Cambridge Search and a commercial lending background from Coast Business Credit—an asset backed lender formerly based out of L.A—have been critical to the success of Sabre Financial Group.

Michael Volpe
General Manager

Mike Volpe was born and raised in Allentown, PA. He has been alongside his brother, Fran, since Sabre commenced operations. Mike brings a diverse background from the military, financial planning and mortgage finance. His strong management skills from the military and business world are essential in operating and growing a successful mortgage brokerage. After graduating from West Point with a degree in Economics and Systems Engineering in 1995, Mike served on active duty Army at Ft. Hood, Texas as a Maintenance Officer. Mike received an Honorable discharge from the Army with rank of Captain. Following his time in the service, Mike worked as a district sales manager for a large home builder based out of Dallas, TX. Before moving back to Allentown, Mike worked as a Financial Advisor for three years gaining much knowledge about the financial industry and its driving forces. When Mike Returned to Pennsylvania, he worked as a loan officer and general manager for a PA based mortgage broker.
